Roster movement

According to that chart we only need to get rid of 29 more. I can see 4 or 5 seniors and probably 10 juniors who dont make the cut. Doubt we cut any of the new fresheman we just brought in. So 15 fr, rfr, and so. that will be cut. Dont think its that hard right now.
And we have until Aug 1st to cut that roster down. So it doesn't have to happen right now.but after spring ball it's going to need to happen.

I would bet some of those names you've never heard before will be on the roster come August 1.

Most of the personnel decisions will take place in the summer after the staff have evaluated Spring Ball.
Probably sooner than the summer. My guess is they'll be down to 105 by June 1st. That will give those who get cut/released/etc, time to fin another school.

I agree for 3 reasons. We have 3 new coordinators that will want to make changes after Winter conditioning and Spring ball.

On top of that - there was a pretty clear message from the AD to Rhule that 6 wins isn't good enough - he's on the clock to improve or we start looking at replacing him (or at least forcing re-negotiation of his contract to make a buyout workable - aka "a Harbaugh".)

Expound please.

Former Husker defensive back announces next destination

The Miami, Florida native will move closer to home and continue his collegiate career with the Charlotte 49ers of the AAC.

Bootle signed with the Huskers over offers from Boston College, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Washington State, and Charlotte, where as mentioned he'll continue his career.

In his time with the Huskers, Bootle played in six games, recording two total tackles. In 2024, he appeared in three games, playing against UTEP, Purdue, and Indiana.

Sean & Sip have repeatedly said on their HuskerOnline shows that this is a million dollar player in the portal

While most guys begrudgingly admit to missing "leg day" at the gym, me thinks S Pete, at 320 elbees, has been missing "arm day." Yo Shiyazh, you're not playing UTEP and Sam Houston St every week in the B1G. You might want to include pushdowns, kickbacks, and preacher curls to your workout routine.

WOW! That can't be a picture of a B1G Tackle. Has that been photoshopped?

I've done some research on Sneaky Pete and found the following...He was an unrated "project" out of Shiprock NM when he committed to NMSU. He is now evaluated as a 4-star transfer portal player. I'm seeing he is 100% committed to Vanderbilt, following his old QB Pavia from New Mexico State. I wonder where the info favoring Nebraska and Michigan came from. Sure looks like he needs to get much more physical to join the B1G.
