Roster movement

In regards to Williams, he is following his defensive line coach, who he regards as a father figure, not TW.

Some are following pot roast some are following TW.

Johnson may be just testing the the waters. He has every right to do that.

we may try to re-recruit Danny Karlin out of the portal. Any thing is possible in the new rules for college football

All these players have agents. Who knows if they really have the best interest of the player in mind. Who knows what they are being told. To some agents they are just a commodity

I think that may have been touched on in the other thread. Holgerson reached out to him immediately and so far is the only coach to do so. However unless one coach is gone, his name rhymes with batterfield, it's unlikely he comes back. I hope he puts the issues aside those 2 have and still comes back, but I wouldn't count on it...yet. It's possible though. If it wasn't for DH we had zero chance of getting him back.

Serious question. Can he change his mind and return for the bowl game? If not, I still think we look for a replacement in the portal. Long term I don't think it would be healthy for the program to take guys back after missing games while testing the market in the portal.

That's a great question. Technically the portal doesn't open until Monday. So he and the others aren't in the portal...yet. So I would guess if he never enters the portal that he would definitely play. My question is, if he stays, how many bowl practices has he missed and would it make a difference for him? It may not affect him. I hope he decides to stay in spite of Satterfield, because he is the best RB ok the team.
 
I wish they would quit saying "officially entered the portal". No one has yet entered it since its not open. They have only declared they were going to enter. I have not seen anything from EJ saying he is staying but that is the rumor. It was also the rumor on Jeudy, has anyone heard more on him?
