Rhule's coaching staff

MR was previously an OL coach. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt about keeping DR. We don’t know the specifics of his conversation with SF, but perhaps he asked questions like “which position coach really connected with their players?” , “who was the first assistant in and the last one out each day?”, and/or “who wasn’t having an affair with another coach’s wife?”
...to which SF replied, "Why are you asking me? I have no idea what happened. It was all a blur."

The who was first in - last out would have escaped Frost - he spent morning sleeping off his prior night's shenanigan's and checked out early to tie one on the next night. :)

Maybe someone out there can verify this but I heard a rumor that Frost voluntarily checked himself in at the Betty Ford Clinic.

That kind of high-profile drug and alcohol rehab center is likely the first step in an effort towards getting a "Back in the Saddle" gig as an OC again.

Don't know anything about that. Seemed like he has a problem. If so, I hope he is getting help!

Since Rhule was an offensive line coach in the past, maybe he sat down with Riola and asked his philosophy and what he planned to teach the players in the future and what he had done this past season. Maybe he liked what he heard and told him his philosophy and they matched. Maybe Rhule thought he could teach Riola some new things also and make him into the coach he wanted for the future? All we know is that Rhule liked him enough for whatever reason to hire him as the O-line coach.

Sean Callahan said Rhule had four prime-time candidates for the OL position coach position.

Since Rhule liked Raiola enough to retain him when he had other strong choices to consider, this could pay dividends for the OL's progress next season. They may be adjusting to a new approach and/or techniques but they won't be adjusting to a new coach

Maybe HCMR thinks it takes more than one season to build an offensive line
