I said no such thing about Louisiana. I said its a crap-hole. Crap-holes have uses, which doesn't make them bad per say. Other places on earth are crap-holes, too. I simply would choose Nebraska, one of my paradises on earth, over any crap-hole. Recruiting players to Nebraska should be a cinch.

True but New Orleans is a ****hole.

I am not that fond of Los Angeles. I travel there for work once or twice a year and I hate it. It's crowded, over-priced, and too many of the people who live there are just pretentious, self-entitled, a-holes who think the entire universe revolves around them.

Nebraska is NOT "paradise", not even close.

As for the rest, Hemingway would have admired your strong usage of subtext. From a writing and literary perspective, well done.

One man's garbage dump is another man's paradise

I've heard many stories of families visiting Lincoln on a college visit tour and being stunned by what they found. The campus wasn't surrounded by a field of corn with outdoor outhouses that they'd expected.

Come ON, Husker99, tell us all what you really think. :) ;)

Once upon a time I traveled back-and-forth to LA regarding an information system project. I wasn't keen on the smog or the long waits in traffic. I once had a guy who, upon learning I lived in Nebraska, asked me how I could 'stand' living there. I joked it off but thought to myself that with the exception of a beach, I had everything he had but without all of the big city headaches.

Can Graham Harrell coach up a QB to throw to his receivers? If I was forced to place a bet on who, that's who I believe is the choice for OC.
I hope not— couldn’t produce a decent offensive team with a lot more talent than we have— and seems to have a real aversion to any running plays

GBR

I bet they were really shocked to know that scalpings are way down too.

Her sister and 3 brothers are here. ( 2 more in Peru , and 1 in Maryland)
I know what you mean about Miami. It is too busy for me as well. Naples is only a couple hours away and much more laid back. Family is always a consideration, but I found out due to having to relocate 6 times when I was working that in today's world everyone is just a few hours away by air.
