More Crap !!!!!!!

Since Taylor was pretty much dragged through the mud without any evidence, just because it looks like she "pulled a train". Mo was expelled but no one is questioning why. I'm curious, just saying. No matter what happens, the egg will be on the Huskers faces on this one and I pray to God that, if Mo stays on the team, this doesn't come back around to bite Frost in the azz.
This paragraph is ridiculous. Yes she was pulled through the mud but there WAS evidence. She got caught blowing a guy. Willingly. Filming and releasing the tape is another story. But instead of recognizing her participation in it and acting like she was the victim of sexual abuse or rape you want to pull Mo's latter years into your conspiracy theory. That is a pretty sick act by a poster in itself.

This is a case of a bitter ex that is jealous that Maurice is a football star. She literally went to the media to get this in the media. Maurice just needs to go to Cali and plea not guilty and let his lawyer negotiate a plea deal that avoids any jail time and focus on continued football success.

I'm a little confused here. Mo had the video on HIS phone but transferred it to his FATHER'S phone and then sent the video and the text to the girl from his father's phone? Am I reading the article properly? If that's the case, then it would appear that Mo knew that what he was doing would be against the law and was trying to cast suspicion elsewhere. Or, maybe I don't have a clue what's going on and I'll just stay out of it and let the justice system work its magic.

Its a good thing the critical posters on this thread never said or did anything hurtful to anyone in their lives! Its a different world now that electronic traffic is traceable. Let's let the legal system take its course.

She had blocked his phone after an exchange so it seems using dad's phone was a quick way to get at her again. So the story reads anyway.

I believe she had blocked his phone. So he used his father's phone.

I’m pretty confident that you haven’t seen the video, so for you to be certain that she was a willing participant is silly.

Regardless of her actions, this is about Mo possessing criminal material and wielding it in a threatening way. It most assuredly would be if this same thing happened to a player from OSU or Texas.

Before I waded through all of these posts to respond again, I read the link for a 2nd time from Mo.

And what I sensed was that a key statement in the link has been glanced over; therefore, the varying posts in here have gravitated to anywhere from grounded opinions to some a little bit from the conspiracy theory department.

The statement that I'm referring to is the one that says, because of the ages of all the participants at the time "make them both victims AND perpetrators", is the reason there was no original charges, because minors cannot consent to Jack diddly when it comes to sex.

This is why we have 8 pages of this, because we, as posters, are forced to struggle being on a fence, or, some are just going to take a stand.

No matter how this turns out it is one big mess, and I am not caring if MW will still end up staying here or not.

My focus is society's future and what influences it will have on my grandchildren first and foremost, and how much "brainwashing" they will be subjected to that may determine how they will gravitate socially.

I thank God I have great sons that are morally and ethically sane, who also married great Daughters-in-Law that greatly ease my concerns, because it will absolutely break me as a man should crap like this happen to either of my grandchildren.

Call me naïve but I don't get that at all. One article talks to the DA, who collaborates Taylor's account. I'm sure they subpoena'd cell/text records from all numbers involved. She congratulated him on his scholly, he made sexually suggestive remarks, she declined the opportunity. Her mother is monitoring her cell phone activity, please remember. I suspect that mom blocked the number. Here is where Mo got really stupid as he sent the video to his father/step-father's phone so that he could send it to Taylor. Mom saw the video and told daughter not to open it, which she obviously did based on remarks to the Bay Area Media. Parents are the one who made the decision to take it to the authorities. At some point, Taylor decided she was ready to answer questions, perhaps she is finally tired of being the victim. I'm not in her head nor do I know her personally so I cannot have a factual answer here, just surmising.

As for the whole consensual/non-consensual thing. Here are how rape laws work. If Taylor originally thought it would be "kicks" and agreed to it; then decided at any point during the encounter that this is more than she bargained for and said "No, stop" and the two young men continued -- at that point it went from consensual to rape. The law is very clear on that these days. I understand that it is hard for a male to control himself at a certain point but from a legal standpoint, they had better or they are culpable for a rape charge. And as for the video, just how hard do you think a girl is going to fight when there are two males involved. I know from my experience with having a saber up against my throat that all I was thinking about was surviving the night and I would have done ANYTHING that I was told to do on the off-chance that I would survive to see the next morning. I was fortunate in that the gentleman understood that I didn't understand what kind of a position my friend had got me in and decided to teach me a "lesson". He did and I damn sure made sure that I was never voluntarily placed in that kind of a situation again.

For the record, it does not matter if she was consensual in that video or not, she is a minor and sending it via text is a felony. If all that is reported is correct, a very bad decision (actually two) on Mo's part. By sending that video to another phone so that he could text it to Taylor, he showed a great deal of malice. That is why I'm so curious what his behavioral issues in Dallas were.

It could be that his phone is under a family plan so its registered to his father. She blocked him on Instagram, which is where the sexual in nature messages from him came - according to the affidavit. Then she received the video from a phone - his or one registered to his father - could still be Washington's phone. Could be his dad's. Sounds like its his.
The message sent by her later about not seeing the video could very well have been an attempt to get him to admit it. I'm sure his lawyers will use it as a means to say that she consented for him to send it.

Could be jealousy on her part. Could be jealousy on his part. Could be she sees him as a "star" and wants to get together. Could be that he thinks he's a star and should get whatever he wants.

Regardless of what happens.....at some point Mister Washington is going to run out of chances in life. Some people get one do over, some get a dozen, some get none.

I'm not going to speculate on what I believe is "the truth" because frankly to me a lot of this speculation and theories presented in this thread about these young people, our program and the whole social media quagmire to be a bit disturbing. I'll just wait for the process to play out.

Hopefully, justice will be given out as is appropriate and fair.

The difference between raising boys versus girls is just astronomical. I don't think parents of boys understand what all raising a girl entails. I think you've done the right thing by shutting down a bad situation with your 16 year old. Some day she will thank you for this!

I hope you are right because right now I’m the worst person in the world to her. However my Dad said something while visiting recently and it resonated pretty good. He said when you were that age were we friends? I said nope...You were my Dad and I knew where the line was. The parent of this kid is exactly that...his friend.

Sounds like a wise Dad who took action for the well being of his daughter. I salute you, sir! I have 3 daughters, one is a Soph in College near Tampa, FL, one is Senior in HS and one a Soph in high school. I have had similar talks with my girls over the years, making it clear that I will step in in any relationship that goes too far. My youngest daughter had a young man sending profane sexual suggestions over Snapchat, so I had to contact his Dad and have "that" talk. Social media may help connect youngsters, but it really has some pitfalls that requires parents to stay on their toes these days....

I wish I could buy you a beer and we could share some stories...Thsnks I feel your pain with girls and social media and the exact thing to pointed out about explicit sexual language is also what this clown was doing...He thought it was her but he was actually talking to me. Another thing about this generation...They think saying sorry fixes the situation and then we move on. No...there are consequences for your stupidity and for this kid and my daughter it’s...Now I take over the situation. Have a nice life son...hit the bricks.

If he had committed to ASU instead of NU these posts would run along the lines of "we dodged a bullet on this guy".

I think a problem today is a lot of kids are "friends" with their parents....

IF Mo is found not guilty or a plea deal is reached and he is allowed back in school and declared eligible, I think the best thing for him and NU is that he redshirts for the 2019 season.

My response was to the people who have quoted the video as being an assault or rape. They have maximized their thoughts about Mo's actions by over dramatizing the effects on the woman as a victim of assault and rape which by all accounts she wasn't. I'm pretty sure if you are naked.....nobody holding you down......and giving oral sex to a guy that isn't an unwilling participant. There is a reason the police didn't prosecute it as an assault.

Other than the part about "unwilling", this sounds like my kind of friday night
