I cannot believe this thread has 75 pages and counting. That has got to be some kind of BHF record.

If we do this back and forth enough times you will be wrong.

Nope. Because there are an infinite number of numbers between 75 and 75.5.

For example, we have 75. Then I can put as many zeros as I want, make it

75.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001

And I am nowhere even close to 75.5...meaning, the number of zeros I can place is infinite so we'll never even reach 75.6.

That would be true if there were an infinite amount of post before it went to the next page. However there isn't. After a certain amount of post it will go to page 76 so at some point you are going to reach the halfway point and then go past it. So Hunchie is correct.

A technicality.

Two words...BOOM!

I realize CFB is changing and the dynamics involved in being a fan is becoming more NFL-like than the days when I was a young fan. This week's rush of new Scott Frost venom has made me realize how incredibly hard it would have been to combine today’s big-money CFB world with a Frost-coached Husker team. I get a big knot in the pit of my stomach just thinking about it.

BUT that said, I’m super-excited right now because I’m a Husker football fan first and foremost. Truthfully, my love for the sport itself has always been in direct proportion to how well my Huskers are doing. I could care less about CFB back when it was always Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia in the 4-team playoffs (and, most importantly, Nebraska sucking) than I do today.

The Frost thing has also made me appreciate the character of the team we’ll be fielding this fall. What made so many of us support Pelini and Frost back-in-the-day (while keeping a blind eye to their character flaws) was because we hoped and prayed it was signaling a return to (cue trumpet fanfare…) The Nebraska Way!

But, as Alabama discovered in the post-Bear years, continuing a winning tradition is not about the players or coaches who were part of the past rides, it’s about the personality and philosophy of the Head Man, insider or not. Was Frost or Pelini ‘chips off the OL’ block’ of TO and the Bobfather? Hardly. It took Nebraska hiring “an outsider” to FINALLY see, after a two decades-long absence, a return to the kind of football I grew up admiring.

With Matt Rhule leading our program, I am proud to remain a Husker fan and look forward with great anticipation for this coming college football season. GO BIG RED!
