D Line Coach Watch

I may not stay in the chat box, with all the negativity even during wins it makes bad games almost unbareable in there. But I never stop watching until the clock is at all zeros.
I took my 8 year old son to his first game, KSU vs the HUSKERS. Franks last game. About half way through the 4th quarter he looks at me and says, we just arent going to win this one are we. I say nope. He says well why dont we leave. And I simply say "its not over and we wont leave until it is, you never know what you might miss if you leave". Folks all around him said, hang in there buddy it will get better we promise.

I applaud your approach with your kid. However, the "...it will get better..." might be true, but at this point, I am so unbelievably weary of the "...it'll get better at some point..." The last 20+ years of mediocre to bad football just has me doubting we're ever going to be good again.

I am the same, I watch to the end no matter how bad it is. I will be in the chat for games I can. I may not "chat" much but I do read it and sometimes just shake my head at what I read.

After me bad mouthing assistant assistant NFL coaches I'm at in a wait and see mode on this one. What makes me hopeful are a few things......He's has been heavily involved in the college game as a player and coach. He has had control of a D-line coach in college. Would bet a lot of money that Snow and Rhule both played into this one as having worked for and with both. He called himself a 'nerd' and a 3.9 GPA is nothing to sneeze at. His NFL career was less than spectacular, which means his high level of success in college was most likely from hard work and his intelligence in making the most of himself.

Overall, I remain positive until proven I shouldn't.

Just wish he hadn't played for those orange sob's. :)

Anyone know if the Houston Texans DL is any good? I don't follow any team in the NFL and haven't watched an NFL game for more than 1 or 2 minutes in about 5 years.

Sounds like Brown is offcial. FYI:

...he led South Dakota’s D-line in the ‘21-’22 seasons, at which time new Nebraska Defensive Coordinator Rob Aurich was the Inside LB Coach and Special Teams Coordinator for the Coyotes.
