Will there be Spring practice, Covid-19 vaccine

Ahh, that was last April when our numbers went through the roof. Most everyone in the neighborhood was doing the same thing. As the numbers went down, I relaxed on those kinds of things. I still see a couple of bike riders with masks, no walkers and maybe 6 people who have their mask on in their car with their windows up.

Also, let me add that was when the CDC had just shown how the particles spread through the air and they had this ungodly time frame as far as how long the "bad stuff" could persist in the air.

Nowadays, I like to keep a mask tucked in my pocket and if someone wants me to stop and chat, then I excuse myself while I put my mask on before we chat. Now that I'm vaccinated, if I meet someone I know is vaccinated, I'll not don my mask. Kind of trying to change with the flow and as seems reasonable.

Good girl!

Perfect

I don't believe that I said anything one way or another about not respecting their decision. I did say don't even think asking them to wear a mask because I know what the answer would be and I don't want to p*ss off the person remodeling their house. I would say that as someone entering another person's house, I would think that the onus is on them to respect the rights of the homeowner. You know -- when in Rome, and all that. I've never pressed the issue with any of them however.

And, for the record, I don't particularly respect it. In fact, I find it a bit selfish but that's just my opinion. I would like to be respected for a few opinions but know what the reaction would be if I posted them (which I wouldn't) -- just saying that that statement isn't applied universally to everyone's decisions about matters pertaining to their beliefs. It's OK though. I know the way of the world.
And it wasnt about respecting anything, it was all about appreciation

The study concludes (emphasis added):

The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

I stand corrected but I don't appreciate it or respect it. It seems the same to me.
And thats for you to find.
I gave several reasons why, because if a thing is bad, still, good things come from it.
You can judge their behavior as you wish, i understand that, I'm just adding what they possibly may add, which only a certain person reacting the the virus and getting it naturally may have answers to.

Like taking the good with the bad, there is no winners with this virus, but there are wins, even non perfect ones

I think masks make the problem worse. From reading all the posted medical study information, it is proven the masks do little to block the transmission of COVID. However, many believe mask wearing protects them. I am betting that this false sense of security has led to many people coming into contact with infected people. How many people have gone to Home Depot and said it was packed but I felt safe because everyone had a mask on?

Well that's to counter the effects of the tear gas that goes with their nightly anti whatever protests they have in Portland.
I can attest to the fact that none of these cloth or paper masks will stop CS gas. That sh@t creeps into every crack and crevice possible and will clear your sinuses in a heartbeat. :D

Ooh, I hate that Baby Poop. We went through the gas chamber as part of Basic Training. Yesh, though I was gonna die.

Ya, it's fun stuff. We had to do it at least once a year for recurring training....:D
