Uenth's Official Humbled Huskers v. THE Buckeyes Thread

After Hartzog’s interception to the 7 when they stopped us at the 1 - would have maybe been a good time for a package of plays featuring Haarberg.

Or Riola keeping it on a bootleg...
Or any kind of play action pass to a TE...
Or any kind of fade route...
Or any kind of "pick" play...

Typical acts of Ohio State leaning referees in B1G.

It was not a coincidence.

Adam Carriker just posted on Twitter that 8 of 21 passes that Dylan Riola threw on Saturday were screens or sideline passes that either gained no, or lost, yards.

So for those of you wondering why I am so adamant that Satterfield should be fired...

Ohio State averaged 13+ yards per pass and Nebraska averaged 2.7 yards per pass in the 1st half and 4.6 in the 2nd half.

That is, for the entire game against Ohio State, Nebraska's yards per pass = 3.65 yards.

This level of offensive incompetence should be considered criminal.

Hey, @ATX_Husker ... How do you post Twitter posts here? I try and all I get is the link.

My expression watching Nebraska OC Marcus Satterfield calling another sideline pass...

Let’s be 100 % honest. Are you really surprised?
I remember some obviously BAD targeting calls that were called and confirmed against Nebraska that were more wrong than the one called Saturday against the Ohio State player.

Funny thing, I don't recall the B1G Office overturning any of them. But then, we weren't playing Penn State in a big-time game the next weekend.

I am of the very strong belief that the league will do damn near anything to protect Michigan and Ohio ( and the so called legacy teams to a much lesser degree )

If the roles were reversed and it was a Nebraska defender who was called for targeting given the exact, same circumstances, who here thinks the B1G Office could have come out and announced this week that our player could play the first half of the UCLA game?
