**The Official Huskers vs Puffs Game Day Thread**

The money will push that line to 10 by game time - so we'll be big underdogs. So be it. I was not that impressed with CU's oline (run game specifically) but they did enough in the pass game including about 200 yards on screen passes. TCU was able to run on CU - Hunter is a 5 star mega stud and you should not throw the ball near him - but otherwise sCUm D is pretty average.
So we face a team with alot more skill firepower than Minny - but less ability to run the ball. And a much weaker defense.
I do think keeping up with CU's explosive plays will be a challenge (Sanders is a WAY better QB than Sims right now too) but this game will be a higher scoring close game - probably 34-31 something like that.
I said it was likely we drop the first 2 games when Fall camp started based on what we saw in the Spring. Haven't changed my opinion - even though I like what I saw vs. Minny (outside of the mistakes and lack of production from passing game)

He might be right. Before last week, I had pictured CU being an easy win. Now I don’t know what to think.

I woke up feeling pretty good about playing CU. Here's why.
Shaduer Sanders had the best day of his life against TCU He didn't have a game that good at Jackson State when they could out-athlete everyone they played. Last week was way beyond what is normal. He saw everyone was wide open because THEY WERE! He's not going to have the same defense against him this week. He will throw to guys that aren't as open as they appear. We WILL get interceptions. He will spend a portion of the game on his ass. We coming! Bullock will get to him as Bash Nutsmasher (and Ty in the second half) push him onto his back foot. They also aren't going to have the ball on offense 12 times. Our run game will use the clock and wear down their smaller defense.
I suspect we may fall behind early by a score or two, but we will grind them down.
