**The Official Huskers vs Puffs Game Day Thread**

[innmc]

I sorry to say but I don't like our chances next week. We'll see but CU is way better than Minny. Way better QB and playmakers.

[Chris]

What in the hell were those last two playcalls TCU?

[Pavlov's Dog]

First impressions-
CU is pretty fast....and small.
I think we can run the ball on them and a 4 man rush can get pressure on their QB. Send 5 guys to get after the QB and Shandeur will soon be in pain.
Hard to play catch up if they get a couple scores.

[Chris]

Folsom is the worst of beigey-beige colors.... and an afront to the memory of Johnny Cash.

[Chris]

TCU just gave it away. Must not a kicker worth anything.

[Chris]

Buffs had four players with 100+ yards receiving today...

[Mike Corgan]

45-42 COLO

There is no COLO... only sCUm

In my Hannibal Lecter way... "Love the uniforms."

Better show up with the desire to cut the heart out of sCum...

[MRJFB]

Take all the Neon jabs you want.

But,

[Husker Andrew]

we going to have our hands full next week

[Doc Fumble]

This CU Upset will have Fox Sports in HIGH NOON hype heaven this week.

Had to edit before I pressed Post Reply 'cause Husker Andrew took the words right out of my mouth.

That's what happens when you keep passing inside the 5 and throwing ints.....

[innmc]

It really is amazing what a good O line and QB can do

[HuskersNC949597]

TCU was overrated, even at #17 given what they lost, plus their defense last year was one of the worst in the nation that said, I still fully expect another disappointing loss next week, but that says more about NU's lack of playmakers on offense.

[innmc]

You gotta give credit to those guys at CU.
On game one they are hitting on all cylinders

CU's O line play surprised me......hell, the play of the whole team surprised me. Frankly, it looked to me like TCU took today's 'win' for granted.

[ATX_Husker]

sCUm will likely be a top 25 team when we roll into Boulder next week, another opportunity for Rhule to change one of the narratives that has plagued us this time it is “Nebraska vs ranked teams”. Let’s hope and pray Nebraska doesn’t return to Lincoln 0-2

[MRJFB]

We played footsies and checkers Thursday.

We'll see about this 3-3-5 this week against a very confident, aggressive offense that means business.

Prime is blowing the perreniall loser attitude that you need years to be good in football.

[LinvingProog]

The sports media already has CU in the national championship game, their QB with the Heisman trophy and Sanders as coach of the year. Might as well cancel the rest of the season. The sports media makes me want to puke.

[justino52]

Hopefully the defense can have the same effort but Colorado has better skill players than Minnesota. I think this will be a keep the offense in front of you and make them drive the field defense.
Run the ball, run the clock. Either spread them out and run right at them or go big and try to power it all game.
Not really confident in the offense to score enough even if the defense holds them up somewhat.

[Doc Fumble]

Okay, I can buy that.

I still fully expect another disappointing loss next week, but that says more about NU's lack of playmakers on offense.

You talked about TCU's D last season. FYI, Minnesota's was #2 in the nation. I think it's a tad early to proclaim we have no playmakers.
