Ready or not.... baggage and all.....

Maybe, Maybe not. More and More college coaches are staying in college because it's much harder to manage egos of multi-million dollar players who if pissed off go to the owner to get you fired.

And frequently- it pays better. Which is just weird IMO.

This is what I do now…I do all the pre and post operative imaging for these orthopedic and Neurological procedures. Good luck I hope you have a smooth procedure and recovery. I know I have that in my future. 25 years of running, Humps with a pack with the Marines, up and down ladder wells, etc. did a number on my knees.

S plus 8 update. Unfortunately for me, the nerve block didn't work so right out of surgery I was in a terrible amount of pain. On the left one, I got a 24ish hour reprieve due to the block, not this time. I found out afterward the spinal didn't completely work either, so they had to put me under. Of course, I knew none of this when it was happening.

Next day pain was intense and wife and Dr. doubled my pain meds. Kept that up for a day until things got better and since then it's been better and better each day. I'm getting around really well now, and although it pisses my wife off most of the time, I'm only using my cane about half the time.

In my throes of pain on Wednesday I ordered one of those pump systems that circulates very cold water thru a knee wrap and that thing has been absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend to any of the BHF's who might be getting a surgery in the future. They have multiple attachments for whatever part of the body you need to ice.

I got one of those pumps when I had my ACL surgery. My pain meds made me sick so had to stop them and that thing was a god send. Would have never made it through those first days of therapy without it.

I absolutely love this thing. Freeze 5 or 6 water bottles and put them in there with enough water to fill to above the pump and 6 plus hours of glorious ice water.

Hell yeah. Nothing better. I had a second knee surgery on the same knee and they gave me another one. So I actually have 2 of them. When I tweeked my knee a month ago I used it for 3 or 4 days to help me sleep.
