Reaction MSU

He also said the line blocked well . He is being a leader , not making excuses or throwing his guys under the bus . Just another reason why he is QB1
Saying the line blocked well was not being a team leader. He was protecting his Tio.

The only ones Dylan is quick to throw under the bus is the fan base. Two weeks in a row now he has dissed the fans in the post game presser. Tonight he mentioned the criticism the D line got after the Michigan game.

Either the players aren't blocking well, the scheme is bad, or the quarterback isn't capable of dealing with the pressure.

The Michigan game was a complete collapse by the line.

This game seemed to be a complete collapse of QB play. If you have 4 seconds and still get sacked, that's on the QB. There will always be a receiver near the OB that you can chuck the ball over their head.

Raiola is no different than hundreds of elite recruits. They are great until they quit playing against high school kids.

He was great against lesser teams, but freezes up against big boy pressure. Is it his fault or the fault of this pathetic offensive line? Who knows, but Rhule better figure this out or he will be gone along with the rest of the dipshits.

Rhule addresses that here

I'm glad Rhule addressed this. Before the Huskers put together that nice drive to end the 3rd quarter, their previous 6 possessions netted a total of 18 yards, and our star QB's attention is on the fans in the stands? GTFOH. DR's head is not in the right place if he's consistently looking to play victim with an admiring fanbase. Your battle is on the field my man, not with the 85k fans spending their hard-earned money to watch this sh!+ show.

I don't see this story having a happy ending, especially with his comments.

I would have rather had FSt win and Mlaml lose. But Texass lost...yahoo!!!
I would have been with you 100% prior to last season with the Miami/FSU game. After Knighton, White, and Williams left for FSU last year, and the way Williams is always shading Nebraska, it warmed my heart to see FSU on the losing side of the ledger again yesterday.

I had a laugh-out-loud moment listening to Rhule heading to my van after the game when he said in his presser he told Dylan to play better instead of getting mad at a few fans. He said, "they're paying 12 dollars for a beer!" :) :) :)

I'm not giving up on DR. He's a talented passer but I think sometimes he lacks maturity with his comments. He needs to realize he is a highly paid professional now. Collegiate athletes are not 6 year old T-ball players exempt from criticism any longer. If ever this team deserved to get the treatment from the fans it was yesterday midway through the 3rd Q.

I've always been a complainer, but once they started getting paid my attitude changed completely. Do your job or go away. I'm not sure what Raiola is getting paid but I'm guessing it's around 2 million. If your reaction is to criticize the fans, Go F yourself.

Listen, I get it. CFB has changed--but human biology is still the same. A sophomore QB is still a 19-year-old.

When future Heisman Trophy winner, Eric Crouch was a 20-year-old redshirt sophomore, he had a 51.9 passing percentage with 7 TDs and 4 picks. Amd when Patrick Mahomes was a starter for Texas Tech as a true sophomore in the defenseless, 'basketball on grass' Big XII at the time, he threw for 36 TDs with a 65% completion percentage. Oh, he also had 15 picks.

One thing is for sure, college QBs today need to have super-thick skins.

Exactly, that is why I was glad Coach Rhule addressed the issue in such blunt terms ($12 beer comment). We all make mistakes. Learn from them and carry on.
