There are numerous layers of maturity. Someone with a short fuse, is quick to anger, and will lash out when things aren't going right is most certainly showing a form of immaturity. Another form of immaturity is the "Hey, that's not fair. You're being mean. I don't like you" kind of person. If the leader of my football team is suffering from one of those two conditions, I would prefer the former. Dylan is most certainly the latter. We have insecure fans that are the same. "You're being mean. I'm a better fan than you because I never criticize the players."
I saw a Lane Kiffin special last night after one of the games and he started talking about his time with Nick Saban. They showed clips of Saban losing his sh!+ with Kiffin on the sidelines. Kiffin once asked Saban "Why do you go from 0 to 100 in the snap of a finger?" Nick said he would rather get it off his chest immediately and forget it than let things simmer. Dylan clearly lets the fans booing get in his head and stay there because he continually brings it up two hours later in post-game pressers. This attitude is not conducive to staying focused on the task at hand. Fans shouting vulgarities in a chat room during the game are not deciding the outcome. Some of us vent differently than others.
