The B1G-SEC league can't get here soon enough.
The new, NCAA-less association had better have some damn strict "death-penalty-like" rules about outside interference (the State-kind and the donor-kind) or for all their efforts to bring law and order back to the game, it won't change anything. Since half of this illustrious 'think tank' is composed of $$$EC members, I'm starting to believe this whole deal may be beyond repair.
It does suck away some of my enthusiasm to see the same Board of Regents demanding the academic side pony up and permanently eliminate long-standing programs like meteorology at UNL and then turn around and approve a 600 million-dollar football stadium upgrade.

Cigaretti has hard sold that IU is "no where near" what the top teams are spending on NIL. Turns out he was full of $hit. He has mastered Bo's us against the world mentality in a way that actually motivates his team.
