I really hope Scott Frost the best…Money doesn’t fix deep seeded issues…I think we all know that.
The jury is still out on the whole 15 million vs just over 7 if we had waited till after the OU game and done this during the up coming bye week.
That being said knowing some of the key people involved I can totally get the reasoning behind it.
Mickey needs as much time as we can get him even though having a hectic week right before the #6 ranked team in rolls into our house isn't the optimum measureing stick by which to start to evaluate what is what and who is going to man up and who will not but....again you often learn the most about people when the chips are down and everything is stacked against them.
I can so see Trev and MJ thinking like this, win or lose this game, Mickey will know who he has that's on board and who is not and he then has 2 weeks off before the " Falling Down Hoosiers" roll into town. (No I still haven't forgot the Coach signalling his kid to fall down with fake injury just to stop the clock no matter how much the conference reprimanded him it was still dirty pool and I soooo hope we stomp them really bad when they come to town !).
So it's understandable at the least when you look at it like that and as for the money, we can afford it but I'm not crazy about it.
On the subject of new head coach....I will leave my thoughts about that in the right place.

I really like Mickey’s approach on this game…From what I’ve seen. Strip it down, get to brass tacks and fundaments, switched up the backend Defense coaching, and He’s a motivator…Scott was not a Motivator. Smart, but NOT a leader…Scott found his role in the pecking order.
Mickey strikes me as a leader…I’m not sunshine pumping either, you can just see it. I told you all, he said one thing that just jumped out at me…”I’m very detailed orientated”.
Am I guaranteeing the Next T.O.? Know.
But I will say, he gets us to a Bowl game this year…When’s the last bowl game?
And he was probably involved way more into Frost's demise than we'll ever know. There's a reason he no longer holds the position he does.

This while thing pisses me off. DM says to take the info they provide and make your decision. Well the info provided is ambiguous and unsourced, but I am supposed to believe his innuendos? That’s not how critical thinking works. You take EVIDENCE, not rumors, and make decisions. If you won’t provide evidence, when you have it, then you are part of the problem. Don’t pull this I can’t handle the truth. If you are a TRUE journalist, then you should seek the truth and follow where it goes. I am sick of all the SF rumors, but I still don’t know what these problems really were. In this day and age to have zero photos and videos with all the rumors just doesn’t add up…eg Urban Meyer and his “dance.”
No parting ways with frost and getting new coach who can put together a winning team.
