I made a comment in the Dylan Raiola thread about how Frost blew that. I left some of the more sensational details out because I didn't want people to instantly discount the post. I don't have a doubt that the full account is true, I am sure it will come out at some point.
Well, there've been rumors out there from early on in his tenure. First, I just passed them off as your typical social media/ rumor mill BS. But they continued and some of them were coming from folks inside North Stadium. That's when I started paying attention.I really hope that this was an exaggeration. The kind of unprofessionalism described is unforgivable for such a high profile job.

But they were never appropriate to be spreading here, particularly when it's gossipy type stuff. But it was one of a whole bunch of things (Numero Uno: His pathetic W/L record at Nebraska) that troubled me about keeping him last season.
At the time, I took the University's announcement has a subtle indication that Scott had 'gotten his act together' and was ready to step up and show his total commitment to his job. I was happy to get back onboard the Frost train and was super-excited about this season.
But the beginning of Fall Camp made it crystal clear, Frost still had issues -- long before Northwestern game outcome for fans who were paying attention. The bad thing is that it's still icky and awkward to bring up. The good news is that it could mean that we don't need to start all over again if Coach Joseph can unify and provide some real leadership to this group of talented, young men.
I would punch Matt Davidson right in the face if I saw him on the street - he sold his soul that Frost was the answer and could not have been more wrong. He should be banned from Nebraska athletics for life.
I still wanna know what the hell happened between Frost and Moos.
And LambrechtEven worse, Davison was paid well to be little more than a friend and enabler of Scott. If Scott was hitting the bars, odds are that Matt was right there with him.

I agree - the media attention around the OU game was going to be an issue as well - fixed by firing Frost ahead of the game. There is a reason they gave up 7.5 million instead of waiting 3 weeks. It was clearly an issue where the program was teetering on implosion.
