Mark Whipple.

Then there's the exit --->

And I find it hilariously ironic that you're posting on a message board to complain about people giving their opinions on a message board. Weird flex, but okay.
I think he's done gracing us with his presence. Old post history shows this is his MO. Whatevs

Best Halloween costume/duo ever!View attachment 8295

My wife and I had this costume one year. It wasn't until late in the night after I had had a number of beverages that I walked up to her to "insert the plug into the outlet" that the sexual innuendo finally dawned on her.

I agree with his statement that all the really successful QBs have to be a bit of a *****...the nice guy QB just isn’t as successful. I think that is perhaps a critical characteristic that AM was missing. When you are demanding, you will be that way at times, especially when you team is not performing.

I will never figure out Adrian Martinez. Smart, athletic and well spoken with tons of upside potential. He had great stats over 4 years for passing and rushing. But his propensity for fumbling and throwing INT's at critical points in games was just head scratching. It wouldn't surprise me though, if he transfers to a place next year and is successful. OR NOT.

Enjoyed the Whipple interview. You can tell he's a savvy, well-connected, veteran coach.

Three takeaways:

1) He and Ron Brown were classmates back at Brown.

2) Asked about his offensive 'style,' he said he doesn't have one - he gears his offense to his QB and what he does well.

3) Great QBs have a little 'pr*ck' (highly competitive nature) inside of them.

This reminds me of a statement a friend of mine uses from time to time........."Nice guys don't always finish last.........but they do if they aren't very talented, and aren't willing to work to be the best."

Enjoyed the IV as well. What I observated...

A. Excessive name dropping almost felt like he was trying to validate his resume with Husker Nation. Insecurity perhaps?
B. Same as your #3. May have been the problem with 2AM. Just too nice a guy to demand from others.
C. Importance of levity. Sometimes you just have to be able to laugh at a situation. It's the best medicine.
