I think the NCAA needs to revisit the transfer rules again. They were too strict before, and now they are too lenient. I can see not making the kids loose a year when they transfer, but I think they should have a certain time that they can transfer. Not just when the whim hits them.

It is pitiful what passes for education these days. I have a friend who is a high school teacher in California. He is under tremendous pressure to pass these athletes whether they deserve it or not. He gave one football player an F a few years ago but the principal changed the grade to passing. Many teachers pass these kids whether they have command of the subject or not. Anything to get the kid out of their class and make it another teacher's problem the next year.

I wouldn't make them loose a year, but I would make them sit out a year--no exceptions (Yeah--I'm looking at you Ohio State)
