Frost wants more Husker Bucks

We need to quit being so stupid on buyout money and clauses. Its getting ridiculous.
It's incredibly stupid to put a guy who's not performing on an extended contract making more money. Then the next year or year after or whatever, we have to pay a horrendous buyout, due in great part to that luscious new contract the AD wrote up and got signed. Just not good business at all!

I think NU did him a favor by not hitting him with for cause , probably not wanting to kill his career by releasing any information, if just a little of it was true . If he wants this lawsuit they need to drag it all out in court and f@ck him , again if it’s true

Here is what pisses me off about the whole deal: Scott Frost is an immature, selfish, little ***** who still, to this day, harbors a grudge against Nebraska fans for that one time the team got boo'd at home vs, somewhat interestingly, Central Florida.

He is a whiny, petulant, 40+ year old crybaby.

Funny thing, ex-video Coach Leatherboots' take is the same one I'd heard whispered from multiple sources back when he first transferred from Stanford--and again the following season after he crapped-the-bed at Sun Devil Stadium.

But guess what? I thought he'd grown up when the next season rolled around and he led the Huskers on that amazing last-minute drive against Mizzou to tie, then beat them in OT.

His stature grew higher in my eyes when he made his televised plea to coaches during his interview after our big Orange Bowl thrashing of Tennessee and again, when he wrote his impassioned opinion piece about getting Nebraska back to being Nebraska in the Oughts. I was "all-in" by the time he became an OC at high-flying Oregon and the HC at UCF and thrilled beyond measure when Nebraska hired him after Riley's dismal tenure.

Now?

I'm with 99. The guy's a whiny, petulant, 40+ year old crybaby.

Yeah, I'm with both of you. Just leaves me sad that he hasn't grown up. What do you expect from a dude that hid in the closet while he "girl" was dragged down the steps by her hair.

To be fair, Uenth, that's an undocumented RUMOR, just like him standing up the Raiola family for Dylan's in-home visit because he was too damn hungover to do it.
Sheesh, I read that so many times, I was sure that was factual. Wipes egg off of face and shrugs because, well the dude is still just a tool!

Frost opted for Stanford. I mean I get it, Bill Walsh was the head coach of Stanford at the time and I know that Frost had dreams of being an NFL QB. I assume he reasoned he'd have a better chance of being drafted and playing QB under Walsh's tutelage than Osborne's, so I kind of understand his decision to go to Stanford. Once it became clear he wasn't cut out for QB at Stanford, he came back home like the Prodigal Son.

But these are additional things I should have mentioned that pisses me off so much about Frost:

His playing days here set him up for an opportunity to play in the NFL, which opened doors to get into coaching, which allowed him to progress into a HC gig, which allowed him to be hired here at his alma mater, which resulted in him being paid 5 million a year. Nebraska literally set him up with opportunities to advance his career and he made almost 50 million dollars from us.

And how does that cowardly, snot nosed perpetually drunk f^^^ing a^^hole thank us? By being a drunken, incompetent, lazy, half-a^^ head coach who not only failed miserably, but was given far more leeway and multiple chances to turn the ship around than any other coach had ever been given. In addition, almost 30 years later, he still holds a petulant grudge for being boo'd one time 1997 in the game vs Central Florida.

I always thought the Road Warriors were nasty WWE Tag Team Champions. But together, Hunch and Husker99 make those fellows look like choir boys.
