That's funny but Texas will always hold a special place solidly in my top 5 most hated teams. But then I hold grudges...

Even though I think he was close to being canned at MSU, he's gone up my list as the week has gone on. Much more realistic. Offense would be a fit...I wanted him as OC a decade ago.

Please no. I've met him and know coaches who know and have coached against him. They laugh at him. I would HATE this hire. He'd be run out of Lincoln within 3 years.
 
The word around Northern Ohio on talk radio is Butch Davis was contacted by Nebraska....gosh I hope not, he doesn't know how to spell integrity.....
 
Plus there is the whole being bad at his job issue lol

There is no way in this world Frost would be behind this guy in the pecking order
 
You have to admit that some of these rumors are ludicrous. What the heck, why not start one saying that Barry Switzer has been contacted?
 
I'll give Eichorst credit, the man has this thing on lock down. I don't really get worked up over rumors and whatnot. There will be a coach named soon enough. Until then, I just pray it's someone who will make us into a competitive program.

I keep wondering if Tressel isn't the man. However, I'd prefer Shaw or Frost.

Yep, only a select few people know what is going on. I like to refer back to the list of 6 that was provided since that is at least reliable and real info.

You know some of these coaches are being opportunistic. The unscrupulous ones are probably having their agents drop rumors naming them as a candidate so they can get a pay raise and/or a contract extension........

Based upon Bry's post in Tressel thread I figured I would comment. Only Frost and Patterson have a chance of getting fan support at an overwhelming majority. Bohl, Calhoun, Chryst and the other guy will cause the fan base to beg for Pelini again

I think even Bohl, considering his last time here would lead to a lot of unrest amongst the fan base. Patterson is a HR, Scott as a HC is a lead off single. The other 4 are strikeouts.
