Coaches reached out to.

Chryst is not exciting, only in this list or maybe on SE's list because of Wisconsin ties. But if that is the case, NC State should be on the list too and looks like a better coach than Chryst in my mind.

Names not on this list but might be being considered by SE:

Whittingham
Shaw
Other?

Right on, I think Bohl would really disappoint the fan base. If you want a 1 year guy who succeed at the FCs level Willie Fritz is a much better candidate

Based upon Bry's post in Tressel thread I figured I would comment. Only Frost and Patterson have a chance of getting fan support at an overwhelming majority. Bohl, Calhoun, Chryst and the other guy will cause the fan base to beg for Pelini again

Would Patterson hire Frost as his OC? Is there any chance that Frost stays at Oregon?

These are solely MY opinions:

Frost makes 400k, Nebraska can triple that without a problem
Frost gets no credit for his work, it goes to Kelly
Frost doesn't want to run that system, he has stated he wants to be more physical
I think almost any coach in the nation would be crazy to not want the OC from Oregon who is revered as a "Slam Dunk" QB recruiter and great developer of the position.

All 4 of those lead me to believe he would come and any HC would want him
