B1G about to have a "surprise" expansion.

I'm willing to bet the 'source' of this 'preliminary discussion' leak is Oregon. Back in the day, Mizzou did the same thing.

My skepticism comes when you start looking at the revenue. No future expansion gives the current schools more money -- with the exception of one that involves Notre Dame. So unless it's a situation where schools are auditioning to join the league with the Irish, take it with a grain of salt. And for what its worth, If ND joins the B1G with somebody else, my money is on Stanford, not Oregon or Washington.
Thank you Killjoy :D

I agree...with everything you said. I'm not a fan of Notre Dame, their "Holier Than Thou" attitude for decades rubs me wrong. However, that is the one I think the BIG is going after. I also agree that Stanford makes more sense to bring in with Notre Dame.

Not sure what Oregon and/or Washington brings to the table, other than more geographic region.

I think 20 is the end game ( for now ) and i do believe those are the teams to be added, i also believe no team including the golden boners will walk away from the money the B1G can bring and at the end of the day its about the money ….even the boners like gold

Heck bring in Washington and Oregon and Stanford. Then Cal Berkley will get in once they sue UCLA and the Big 10 and draw that all out.
Heck just merge the Big 10 and Pac 12 and play a championship game in the Rose Bowl. I mean once ESPN and the SEC make their next move and start their own league, the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl will be out of the playoffs picture. So then the BigPac conference can invite the Big 12 and then become the BigPac12 or Pac12Big10 or PacEmBigOne and have their own TV packages and not have to worry about what goes on in the south or east.

Lol the PACnaB1G16 conference ……dont think ABC ( Mickey Mouse ) would like that

Why the hate for Oregon, other than maybe their bad uniform choices?

For me, that is exactly the reason I dislike Oregon. I am not and have never been a fan of all the ridiculous alternate uniforms teams have and this trend started with Oregon.

So we ge Ooc-La officially with USC - is there another shoe to fall (got to think Nutter Dumb is still a target).

huh never knew that was a thing between those two schools

Oh yeah:
ND vs. BC "Holy War"
ND vs. Miami "Catholics vs Convicts"
ND vs. Nebraska "Why do we have to play these f***ers again?, Eric Crouch ate our lunch."
