Peed and Hawk- you need the support of one or the other to be a regent. It's not written in stone, but it kinda is.Starting to think, with no real evidence to point to, that we have a problem at the Regent level here. Everyone is bailing and the only ones that are the same are the Regents.

One thing I thought I would never see. Shake my damn head!I'm absolutely flabbergasted by this news. Talk all you want about big money offers, more often than not, a new job is as much about LEAVING your current job as it is taking on a new one. Something is going on.
If you ask me, it's ANYBODY who has the Matt Rhule seal of approval.
I don't see it that way at all. This can happen if you truly care about a place and are willing to 'lay it all on the line' because you believe in your heart of hearts that the people above you are making a HUGE mistake. What kills me is how lots of former players stumped for Trev to get the job, and now he gives everyone the middle finger.
I mentioned in another thread that Trev may be making a power play here similar to what he did once upon a time at ESPN. He gambled and lost that time around. But, based on what I've been seeing in Huskerland this past year, Alberts has a STRONG HAND to push this time around. He's essentially saying to the Board of Regents, 'it's my way or I'm outta here.'
My reaction to that? YOU GO TREV! We need you to win this one.
