A fullback would be nice, but just the ability to have the qb take a snap from under center would be enough on its own to reduce the number of negative yardage plays. Surrendering 7 yards on a 3rd and 1 because you have to be in a shotgun formation seems pretty stupid.

Stats give you an idea of how close you are. We were 3-4 plays out of 60 or 70 in each loss from being undefeated. It doesn't take a miracle to change those 3-4 plays.

The obvious answer is number 2, and it also applies to our play caller. That can be fixed, and almost was earlier in the season.
