Well, they stopped it once as time expired. My guess is if they stop it a second time there would have been a defensive penalty allowing for yet one more untimed down. They were destined to lose this game.

To be clear Doc, I mean no disrespect to TJ. Heck, I was calling for him to get playing time last year when the Wunderkind was getting sacked (unnecessarily at times) over and over. But we can't ignore stats and say he is a more accurate passer and better runner when we have 3 consecutive games...

TJ was 45/89 the last 3 games of last season. That is a Chair over 50%. Not sure that would be classified as "accurate" by any metric. He had a terrific game against UCLA. After that, he was well below average both rushing and throwing. He ran the ball 24 times for 39 yards in the last 3 games...

BG is expected to improve as well in Week 2. Don't be surprised if it's a nailbiter.
