It's true
It is- there was concerted energy to get him gone.

There could have been a very small minority....good god look at how we have put up with mediocrity since he left as coach. No I don't believe that either. People just walked around saying dumb stuff, like "Tom's a good coach but he'll never beat OU." or "Tom's a good coach but he'll never win the big one or the Natty."
He gave us 9 wins each and every season he was HC, if my memory serves me correctly.

Persistent and Repeated Negativity
Can fans be upset about the state of our teams, coaches, or programs? Sure. We all would rather win. There’s not a forum member, moderator, or administrator who is happy with losing. But, you are not welcome to remind everybody in every post how negative you feel. Express your frustrations once and leave it at that.
Seems others get away with breaking rules with no accountability on this board as well
I know you are happy today. NU lost and Ohio st won.Bless your heart sugar

its a great day for you
Is the disdain so bad for Frost that no-one noticed that he brought his average team into Norman, OK where the travel squad went deep into the 4th qtr. and battled until the end. They were motivated, they played physical football that we have been begging for. HCSF was not on the field, the OL is young and you expect them to come into a hostile environment and not make a mistake? Be real about that. My main gripe about today is that we don't stretch the field, we have the player to do it Omar Manning yet we dink and dunk. I don't care if Omar can or can't but stretching the field is absent and D's know that. Our D has shown improvement each year, offensive side not so much which means a new ideas need to be implemented and opening up the playbook at this juncture is a must.
I for one don't like losing but if losing it is then go down battling and the Huskers did just that.
What you have to hope for is they come out against MSU like they did today and if they come out delfated then its gonna be ugly next week, remember college football is still an emotional game unlike the pro's. My suggestion during practice next week implement something that gets them excited and so they can bring that same fire like they did today.
You are missing the point. Nebraska lost a program changing game because of an undisciplined team. Which at this point is a trademark of Scott Frost.
At least on the defensive side of the ball, these kids showed up with enough skill and effort to win the game. What doomed them was a complete lack of discipline and accountability on the other side of the ball.
Frost is better served to be everyone's PlayStation buddy than their coach.
Do you have a linky?
I'm not missing the point I saw things for what they are, I removed my emotions and looked at how to use a game like this to put a better product on the field. The years of bitching and moaning have been engrained in the fan base. Take a step back and think that this team went the full monty with the #3 team in America and didn't quit. I know all about the special teams mistakes and a young OL making false starts but ask yourself this how many super seniors are on the OL, on special teams on the total roster??
ok. Me, too, as far as upbringing (a little diff, but same-same).
don't hate him, tho'. he came in a swingin' di*k. he's being humbled. hard, I think.
Well here's a quote...
Osborne said he “thought there was enough unhappiness here that maybe I ought to look for a job.” That despite at least nine wins and a bowl game in each of his six seasons.
