WOW. All I can say is that Shawn Eichorst's decision to replace Bo Pelini with Oregon State's Mike Riley was The Worst coaching hire I can recall since Notre Dame hired a high school coach as their head man.
Nobody here is an athletic director, but I bet that 99% of the posters here would've picked a better football coach for Nebraska that the guy who was getting paid big bucks to make that call.

To be fair to all of us, he was the hottest coach on the market when we got him.I don't know. Nearly all this board was all in on Frost.
I suspect that many of us -- after a formal job interview -- might have had second thoughts, but to be fair to Moos, any AD who didn't hire Frost (even though it would have been justified) would have been run out of town on a rail.
As message boards -- and Husker social media pundits -- go, most of you guys are pretty knowledgeable.
