It's that time of year when Husker fans start checking the interwebs, looking for a fun place to talk Big Red Football. If that describes you, WELCOME to the Board! I think you'll quickly find this is a fun place to talk all things Husker football.

August is also the time when old friends check back in as the football season approaches. If that's you, Welcome back! We've missed you!

The time is FINALLY here, folks. After years of disappointment and frustration, Coach Rhule is preparing to lead this once-great program back to CFB relevance again. Become a part of it with us!

This going to be a Special Season when our Winning Tradition returns. And BHF's Husker Football Forum is The Best Place on the interwebs to talk about it. So if you are a lurker or a poster returning for the new season, check in here and say 'hi' to everybody. Our regular crew will offer their greetings too. Buckle up, we're almost a week away.

Go Big Red!

We've got a regular crew here BUT this is when we usually see some posters.....LIKE YOU....show back up again as well as some newbies appear.

My suspicion is that all Husker message boards are gonna see a noticable up-tick this season.
Yeah I knew what you meant, was trying to be funny with my reply. Next time I put the funny shoes on before I post.

Uenth is always such a Grand Island Homer!

You never see me hyping all the great Husker players who came from Fairbury.

GAC, Dr.F, GAC!!!

Jim McCord in 1967 is the only one I could find without spending a bunch of time.

More importantly, my Mother is an alum of Fairbury HS. I'm assuming you are as well.

Hey, everyone! Old timer poster going back to the 90s. (Formerly “RedSnapper”)
The 90s???? Wow, that impressive. I've heard from some of the board's Old timers that it's been around for a long time---but I had no idea it was came about during the early days of the interwebs. It's gotta be one of the Oldest Husker Sites still around!

My understanding is that BHF went through a major redesign / tech upgrade sometime in the mid-2010s (I'm guessing during the Mike Riley years?) When a bunch of us migrated here from Nebraska's old Scout board, it was during the offseason when Frost was hired.

When Crazyhole and I went looking for a new board (our old home was going to be emploding), we were blown away by how sweet this place was. It still had that 'new house' smell. :) But if I'm right, the 'new' BHF has yet to experience a winning Husker football season. That just ain't right!!!

It's about time this place got to support a winner!

A lot of us wandered in just as the Frost rumors heated up. It was an interesting and exhilerating time with our enthusiasm misplaced. But, that's what makes us Husker fans.
