Weekend Recruiting

[Husker99]

Why does it feel like since Geep Wade and Rob Aurich arrived that Nebraska has FINALLY started emphasizing recruiting in the trenches?

I dunno, and I can't really quantify it, but it just seems like for the last 15 years, OL and DL recruiting was pretty much an after thought.

For those who are curious about how the meltdown played out with recruits I finally got some intel. Apparently the recruits were all ushered back inside when there was still about 4 minutes left (this had been preplanned) so they did not witness the collapse and the fan meltdown. There was supposed to be a late dinner for the recruits but the staff was so upset about the loss they canceled the dinner and just sent the recruits and their families back to the hotel.
