USC at Nebraska - 4/17 - 4/19

[HuskersNC949597]

Worthley grounds it to second, 2 outs, Fikes will score, Mac to second.

[HuskersNC949597]

That was a real bunt by Worthley, unlike the fake one by Moyer.

[HuskersNC949597]

Sanderson grounds it right at the second baseman, inning over but a 6-run frame. Jeebus. Top of the 7th, don't adjust your TV screen, it's 15-6 Nebraska.

[HuskersNC949597]

So Nebraska has a chance to do something really hilarious if they can get another zero in this inning: 3 straight walk-off wins.

[HuskersNC949597]

Horn back out there, just humiliates the leadoff man with a 3-pitch strike out, 1 down.

[HuskersNC949597]

Fly ball smoked to the deepest part of the park again, Moyer has 'em played deep enough though, 2 outs.

[HuskersNC949597]

USC breaks up the party with a 2-out single to left.

[HuskersNC949597]

STRUCK HIM OUT! Horn raises his arms to the capacity crowd as he dances off the mound! Bottom of the 7th, 15-6 Huskers.

[HuskersNC949597]

Carey is 4-5, blasts a single through the right side.

[HuskersNC949597]

Buck strikes out looking, 1 down :|

[HuskersNC949597]

Pitching change again.

[HuskersNC949597]

Grego fans, 2 outs.

[HuskersNC949597]

Not even close to Overbeek, 4 pitches WAY out of the zone, that's a walk.

[HuskersNC949597]

Jeez, Stokes strikes out on a pitch in the dirt, terrible. Huskers unable to end this one early. Top of the 8th, 15-6 Nebraska.

[HuskersNC949597]

Caleb Clark in to pitch. Horn earns the win, 5 innings pitched, 1 run (earned) on 6 hits, 4 strikeouts but most importantly, not a single walk by Ty.

[HuskersNC949597]

Edit: not as hard-hit as I thought, liner to Overbeek for the first out.

[HuskersNC949597]

K, 2 outs.

[HuskersNC949597]

Ground ball, nice pick by Stokes on the fringe of the outfield grass, inning over. Bottom of the 8th, 15-6 Nebraska.

[HuskersNC949597]

Another pitching change for USC.

[HuskersNC949597]

Fikes grounds out to the pitcher, 1 out.
