Had company over for the game so I didn't have the chance to check the pulse of BHF tonight. Damn that was fun guys and gals! The O line has done a complete 540 the last few weeks. And Yant...what can you say? As big as that guy is he seems to find a crease at the point of attack better than any back on this team. Bring on the Wolverines.
We're the best team in the Big10. Yes, that sounds weird because we're 1-2 in conference, but our best is better than anyone else's best. I think the team has finally realized that fact.
It just took 2 weeks longer than I thought it was going to.
We'll beat Iowa by 5 tds. Our guys finally learned how to win.

I have watched Iowa a couple times this season and they are a very good team. (I think I just threw up a little.)
I don't know what the rest of the season holds in terms of wins and losses, but I will tell you that this thrashing of Northwestern was an excellent start to a mid-season turnaround*. (*If that happens.)
I want to believe, but I am not going to let the euphoria of one game cloud my judgment.
You can believe. This started with the last drive of the Buffalo game and has now come to full bloom. Other than Georgia, I wouldn't put money on any team in the country over nebraska right now.

But (and please correct me if I am wrong) weren't you one of the guys saying Scott Frost should be fired? That we were never going to get better with Frost at the helm? That Nebraska should cut all ties with this staff?

Up until the Buffalo game, I was pretty bearish on Frost and still don't like him on a personal level. But I saw a change at the end of that game, and that change was kind of a "ok, fvck it, let's go beat the heck out of them" change in mindset. We have better players than just about anyone, and now they want to hurt people just to prove that they can. The days of playing to not lose is over, now we are playing to punish the opponent.
Exactly where I'm at. It was a fabulous game, the most fun I've had watching a game in forever but it was one game. We need to win a couple more like that and I'll pull out that old Monkey's 45 I have stashed somewhere. Regardless, 3 more games like that and we're bowl qualified. I do not expect, at this point, to beat OSU. Iowa is also a damn good team. But we shouldn't need those games to bowl qualify.
I hope Frosty continues to use the option because DAMN that was fun!
I'm told some credit goes to Chris because he named the official game thread in my honor and I was on a roll there for a while calling outcomes. So next week Chris needs to figure out who the magic BHF fan needs to be. I'm positive I couldn't do that again. LOL!
Everyone jumping on the Iowa bandwagon after they dismantle Maryland. I watched them struggle with Kent St and Colorado St. Like us, it was one game for them.
