The portal

I simply don't know what to say about Neyor. I've heard so many things about how good he was, but not so much about how good he is. I will say this, if there are no lingering issues with his knee, this guy had (and maybe has) all the potential in the world. He's tall. He's fast. And he has decent bodyweight. I'm trusting the staff on this one. If they say he's good-to-go, then I'm happy we got him.

No Portal thing but Manning's Husker Wrestling team just picked up A HUUUUUGE GET. :)

The Polar Bear is on the prowl, baby!!!

It sounded like the whole damn football team was there to cheer him on. Spoiler alert --- He pinned his opponent in the first round.

Isiah Neyor is N - saw comments about him but not saying it was official. It is.

So we likely added RB1, WR1 and WR2 in last 48 hours. Nice work Coach Rhule.

I’m trying to get my mind around this. He’s 320 during football season, but has to be under 285 to wrestle, right?
What are the college wrestling weight classes?
In NCAA D1 collegiate wrestling, there are ten official weight classes.

The lightest weight is 125 lbs and the heavyweight is maxed out at 285 lbs. Wrestlers compete in these ten official weight classes throughout the season. At the end of the year, an NCAA Wrestling Champion is crowned at every weight class.

You are correct sir.

I wasn’t aware of this. I assumed it was like weightlifting used to be with a super heavyweight class with everyone over a certain weight. I need to brush up on my wrestling knowledge. They didn’t have that sport when I was in high school.
