That was the game we needed

2 things: 1) We dominated Buffalo and I didn't think we would do this. We played well on Defense and need to clean up penalties that remove TDs. 2) Not sure what's going on with Culp but we need to find a kicker or else we are going to lose some close games because we can't make a FG.

Yes, we dominated Buffalo and were a little above average doing it (good sign?), but, we should dominate Buffalo 10 out of 10 times.

I won't be lulled back to thinking this team is back on track but there was some promising things we saw in the game besides the dreadful kicking game. I think we saw better cohesion in this game as I personally thought they would not win by more than 10 points but I was far off. I think Scott Frost has somewhat a label on his back from the referees and he will just have to learn to get that mark off in time. I think if the Huskers can lose by 14 or less in Norman, and not because of meaningless points late in 4th quarter, I would be happy. I think we all just want to see a solid effort and fight consistently through 4 quarters as if so we will see wins in those other games the rest of the year and get us to 6 wins comfortably.

Our Policies.

Found in the Forum of the same name.

Hope we're all familiar w/ them.

If not, please read.

I was impressed by the D. Held a team that scored 69 last week to 3. Still too many stupid mistakes. Although I think a couple of those penalties were BS. AM played great. That sack that he turned into a 71 yard run was a thing of beauty. He also made smart plays and threw well. Toure is the man, give him a crease and he is gone. I hope Allen makes it back for next week. He is a force. They need to work on the run game, but I saw a lot that encouraged me.

Yeah, 31 points in the 1st Qtr pretty much tells me everything I need to know about next week's game. We'll have a much better idea of where this team is at.

Having said that, previous year's teams more than likely would have folded by half time. That didn't happen so that, in itself, is progress.

I still think that if OU is having a down week and we are "up", we can pull out a win in Norman. Not likely to happen but it is possible. I'm curious to see how we will rebound if we get stomped in Norman. A lot to anticipate and see how it all plays out.

As Husker99 said, only 4 more games to bowl qualify. I have no idea where those wins will come from as it is a brutal schedule. We are through the cupcake portion without a doubt.

Unless we are going to Norman for the money, which we are not, how about trying to get up and win the fricking game? God know for sure we dont want big 10 refs so lets hope they are using B12 zebras, we stand a better chance. Remember the Ducks....were supposed to lose by double digits.

I'm hoping we win the damn game but bracing for what I view as the inevitable.

Yes, this is a huge game and one would home the coaches and players will be able to reach deep down inside themselves and pull what they need to win this sombeech but until that happens ...

Cristabal took the Ducks to Columbus to play the might bucknuts and won. Lincoln Riley took OU to a near upset over mighty Tulane,,,40-35.. TULANE so lets not pretend NU does not have a chance.

I've said multiple times that NU can win this game. I don't have great confidence in that outcome but yes, NU can win the game if all the cards fall exactly right.
