Super Official Nebraska vs Maryland Game Week Thread

Oops....I knew that! :ashamed0001: It sucks growing old.

Edit made.
It certainly does! I misjudged where the door from the hallway to the dining room is this weekend (didn't have the hall light on) and I'm now the proud owner of one very swollen, red and broken toe. Just what I needed right now!

My condolences. As a fellow senior citizen, get used to it.

In my case, all boo boo's like that are more serious because I have been diagnosed with Osteopenia (one step away from Osteoporosis) so I'm more prone to breaks and they take longer to heal because of the osteo crap.

It was my toe next to the little toe, but otherwise your first gif sums it up perfectly. Did manage to get a tennis shoe on this morning and took each dog around the block. Arlo thought we should go a second round but he was lucky he got that much. Yesterday, he was lucky I got down the steps to get him out the back door.

Regarding the question asked in the video in Post #46...

Without watching the video, let ,e just answer the question: Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since when, in the entire history of college football, has a team NOT needed two of their best players?

;zombie

I concur with H99's assessment!

I used to look forward to Mondays to listen to Coach Rhule. I still listen but they're not as fun anymore since but he's decided this season to become deliberately boring.

This season, Tuesdays are my 'go to' in-season weekdays because I always find Dana and Rob entertaining listens--especially Dana.

The thing I love about Holgorsen is that he has coached long enough and is comfortable enough in his own skin that he has no filter. He knows his role and is respectful of the boss, he doesn't give a sh*t what he says in these pressers. He had quite a few comments (above) that had me chuckling today.

vis-a-vis Dana's presser
Glad to see he doesn't want AC to take chances getting hurt, less running, more follow his progressions.
His high praise of Guttula has me puzzled. Perhaps he's considering using him as an extra lineman and giving LLUUUKKKEEE! an occasional play off. I see Tree as being the better right tackle, but what do I know.
I don't remember if he said anything about the timeline for Carter Nelson's return, but Janiran weighs 225 and I don't see him consistently stopping a defensive end. My hyper concern of the TE room hasn't abated. Eric Ingerson hasn't even shown up on my radar.

He's still listed as Maryland's HC (as of about 2 minutes ago). All the hot gossip is that it's a matter of when, not if, he gets fired. I'd hate to have my employment history something that can be googled so easily. Don't think the money could possibly be worth it.
I was looking for @QuerqueQuirky original post to "LIKE" it. As a fellow Burqueño, I can second everything she said about Locksley's tenure at UNM. I can't decide whether I disliked him more as a coach or a human being. He was horrible on both counts.

On a side note somewhat related to Locksley, we were paired with a couple of younger guys at the UNM Golf Course a few days ago and one of them was a former Lobo who played for both Locksley and Bob Davie. It was cool listening to some of his stories but one stood out as kind of humorous. He said UNM offered yoga classes to the football team and and other athletes to help with flexibility and strength. It started with very little participation but quickly grew in numbers when Coach Locks wife started giving the classes. He said she was an absolute dime. He also said the transition from Locksley to Davie was difficult for many. Davie was a real hard-ass disciplinarian, and Locks was the exact oppo.
