Season to start around Thanksgiving???

I would agree the leadership in the Big 10 is weak - realistically they didn't have a way to be ready for something like this since it has not happened for over 100 years - but it pointed out a ton of weaknesses.

That said - this turdbag President at Michigan keeps popping up as the guy leading the no sport this Fall charge - even when he was told by all Meatchicken boosters of substance to let 'em play or the money stops. I know he has more to worry about than sports - but this dude is completely tone deaf to bad publicity and how his money feces impacts the rest of the Big 10.
Speaking of Michigan, did you see this:

Michigan football players, coaches, fans march in protest at Big House

Oh yeah, he's jumped the shark now. Said michigan president was getting fired today and OSU and Nebraska thinking of leaving big ten...
Ya, his diarrhea of the mouth is getting worse.....dude is a piece of work...:sad0020:

I didn't believe him at first, then the longer he kept at it the more I thought well maybe he does know someone but the last couple days have made me mad at myself for getting sucked into it. But dan patrick was reporting similar stuff about the revote and Oct. 10th so that's what made me hopeful.

Honestly I read some of what turd in mouth posted but I took it at face value.....not much....I knew about the guy in meechicken and what his position is....they are scared to death some kid will have a heart attack and sue the pants off of them.
But now they have to contend with a National Champion being crowned and the Big 10 not being a contender.... How is that gonna play at OSU or Penn.St. or Wisconsin ? They should have a right to put their names in the hat just as much as we ....right ?....but oh no....the powers that be have the right to screw up all those affected by their idiotic decision.....look if other schools can play with the world not coming to an end.....why in the hell can't we ?....

This has always been a situation where every college football program in the country gets on board from the begining or your going to see what we're going through now....just more freakin drama.

The whole thing now is getting so out of whack and out of hand there is no right response left open that makes sense EXCEPT to honor the schedule they put out 2 days prior to calling for a mulligan ....at least then they could say they gave it their best shot.
How is it gonna look when a National Champ is crowned and it has an asterix next to it * not considered a real representative of the National Championship Because of Covid-19 * .....? You think the team who wins it will sit still for that ?.....Would We ?

Everything is just so badly screwed up to be honest.....I wish so bad right now we still had the original Big 8 Conference and could see how that would work out..... couldn't be any dang worse for sure.

DOC HOLIDAY.

Live here in Tennessee - sec country obviously - and listen to a couple of sports channels outa Nashville. While there is a lot of talk about how the Big10 has screwed the pooch on this - at this point anyhow - there is very very little talk about the Pac12 doing the same. Been mention of how the Big10 could get themselves out of the early decision without looking bad if they were to backtrack, and how there is no way now at this point. Big10 sticks to the plan of maybe spring ball? they look bad The Big 10 backtracks - it looks bad but in my opinion, it would be less bad if they just own it and start at the end of the month. My suggestion is that the conference presidents just simply own it.. *we made the call based on the information we had on hand but made it to early. we're moving forward now, given the current possibilities to contain any corona virus outbreak. Any questions? I didn't think so.. Let's play ball*

Or the B1G could not give a damn what the SEC thinks, and proceed as they see fit.
