I don't care if people want to continue to talk about Frost, I just like to mentally compare him to a turd.

You play with the cards you are dealt. A smart coach uses those cards to build the best team he can. Knowing that not every team is going to have the finances of a Texas or Oregon. Other coaches look for excuses. They play the "it's unfair" card to cover their lack of coaching ability.

If Frost doesn't like where his team ranks in the NIL standing, he should be working on the boosters. Of course, that would mean work and we all know about Frost's work ethic. In fact, a top coach sets up the coaching parameters before he takes a job. He would meet with the boosters and say this is what I need from you. Are you willing to commit to my needs? He knows where he stands before he signs on. He doesn't pull the string then whine afterwards.

The irony? He was at some school, I can't remember which one, that has a lot of extremely wealthy boosters he could have utilized to his advantage. But, being that drunk and blind squirrel he is...
Damn H99, can you tell us how you really feel about the unmentionable one?

I know right!?!?!?!

Let's count all the bitter inducing resentment sleights poor drunken squirrel suffered...

* Access to a LOT of extremely wealthy boosters who would have gladly opened up their checkbooks to ensure he had everything needed.

* Former coaches (Osborne, Solich, Darlington, McBribe, etc) who would have bent over backwards to help him in whatever way they could.

* Former players who could be called to help in an unofficial capacity.

* A compensation contract worth 35 million dollars.

* Facilities (grass and turf fields being the exception) that are second to none.

* History and tradition (which he was a part of).

And all we, as fans, expected was to see good football being played (great schemes, great coaching, players ready on game day, good adjustments, etc). And in all this, in the drunken squirrel's eyes, we're the bad guys.

I am sure there is some truth to this but honestly he needs to put the shovel down and quit digging that hole. Especially since Rhule extended him grace and tried to smooth things over with the fanbase and media. He would be wise to move on from the past and be grateful for the opportunity to write a new chapter in his career.

I'm just curious as to what the whinger is going to say if, and when, he crashes as burns at UCF. Hard to blame it on the Uni, AD, whatever, if it happens a second time.

WOW! I thought nothing about Frost's tenure at Nebraska could surprise me any more but ^^^^ THAT CLIP did.

Peter says Scott walked up to him during the second week of fall camp and said, "Man, somedays, JP, I just don't want to be here."

What an incredible contrast to Coach Rhule's demeanor. Matt literally oozes his excitement, gratitude, and love for what coaching football at Nebraska means.

I just really don't understand why the dude signed on the bottom line. Oh yeah, I remember why ... that huge multi million dollar contract. I think I could suck it up and pretend to be enthused over a contract of that size.

If I'm a UCF fan, I gotta be wondering what coach is going to say about UCF when the shite hits the fan.
