Very sorry to hear about Mjrfb's passing away, was always a great person to talk to!
So many young huskers passing the past few years. Cheer on from the other side.
I appreciate everyone who participated in this thread.
For your information, I have copied and pasted all your posts in this thread into a Word document that I will take to Kinko's tomorrow and have printed in color. Not knowing how much, if anything, Jeff's wife and adult children knew about his Husker posting background, I wrote a brief note on the last page talking about Jeff's 20-plus years of online Husker fandom on two Husker Football message boards, the old Scout Board and here on BHF.
The plan is to have Kinko's bind all the pages into a spiral notebook with a cover page saying "Our Condolences to the Bockoven Family from Jeff's Online Husker Friends."
Then I will drop it off at the Funeral Home here in Lincoln with the request that it be delivered to Mrs Bockoven. I will include my contact information in case the family wishes any follow-up. If I hear anything, I'll be sure to let you all know.
