I am Husker94 from the old site.
I recognize that I am not really well liked, and in point fact most despise me. I get it. I have strong opinions, I articulate them forcefully and, despite being a woman, refuse to back down. The irony? Although I am right far more often than not, I get treated like I'm a damn idiot. I'll say something and nobody says boo. A week, two weeks, or a month later, a male poster says exactly the same thing and everyone rushes to say, "Wow, that was brilliant insight." I'm just sitting here and thinking, "...but I said that two weeks ago, wtf?"
