A little over 10 million. Here's how much Miami is paying its 2025 roster for College Football Playoff run | Sporting News
$30,000.000
How much is Nebraska spending?
A little over 10 million.
Let's put it this way the top NIL teams in the Big are Oregon, OSU, Indiana, Michigan and Penn St. When is the last time you saw anyone other than these teams in a conference championship game?Spending more money doesn't guarantee B1G titles or CFP appearances, obviously. But, I do think that Nebraska needs to, at the absolute minimum, double the current NIL budget if they want to be competitive.

When I was in business, I told my boss, the most expensive thing you can have is cheap help. It holds true for college football too.
We are talking NIL era. You can remove Nebraska, Wisconsin, MSU, and I think PSU from your chart. The part I have in red is not true, but that is only because NIL is so relatively new. I suspect that as we go forward, your assertion of being at the top of NIL spending and being in CCG and at the top of the conference will be more the norm.
Indiana 1x
Oregon 1x (Due to being in the conference for only 2 years thus far.)
Wisconsin 6x
Michigan State 3x
Nebraska 1x
Penn State 2x
Ohio State 6x
Michigan 3x, etc etc etc

Well the NIL era is only what 4 years old?We are talking NIL era. You can remove Nebraska, Wisconsin, MSU, and I think PSU from your chart.
Exactly, it hasn't taken long for the money teams to come to the top. Not only in the Big, but if you look at all the playoff teams this year, you will find they all among the top spenders.Well the NIL era is only what 4 years old?
I'm going to assume this is correct. No reason to believe otherwise. So, of the 10mill, Dylan Raiola was getting 25% of the pot? I understand Coach Matt said he has what he needs now to buy a competitive team. What does the 2026 NIL budget look like compared to the 10mill last season?A little over 10 million.
Just curious......is this just NIL or does it include rev share on both/all parties.A little over 10 million.
Here is a quote I pulled from a KETV article. " we're going to be paying our athletes $20.5 million this year,” Dannen said."I'm going to assume this is correct. No reason to believe otherwise.
