The math ain't mathing.33,000 X 105 roster spots equals less than 3.5 million. Oregon's total is just over 27 million. I can believe Oregon's, but we only spent 3.5?

You are right that can't be correct. Dammen stated we are playing athletes $20.5 million this year. However, that would cover all sports. While I can't find the article now, I read someplace that 75% of that money was going to the football team. That comes to around 15 mill.I believe the majority aren't getting NIL. However, our new QB has to be at least half that 3.5, and Lateef gets a taste, Jacory and Nyziah are getting some. We have incoming linemen who are coming here for something other than our beautiful winters. Starters who are returning almost always expect something. There are plenty of guys who would be gone if they only got walking around money.
I gotta believe we are at least $6M into NIL.
But what do I know.

I know we have season ticket holders on here. I believe for the privilege, a "donation" is required. Does that go to NIL?
Since the football team brings in probably 90% of all the revenue*, ~75% going to the football team would make sense.
* I'm guessing
And, 15 million in NIL? Nebraska needs to double that. At the minimum, double it. Or at least have the budget available to go that high especially for elite players that we really need. I can't put my finger on it, and I may be off-base, but it seems to me that Nebraska wants to "cheap" their way through NIL.
You failed to factor in the upcoming revenue juggernaut that is Flag Football.The last couple of years total gross revenue has been about $220 mil, of which about $128 mil is generate by football (Includes percentage of media rights etc).

I wonder how much NIL money will go to them.You failed to factor in the upcoming revenue juggernaut that is Flag Football.

Ding, Ding, Ding. A whole mess of worms were opened up by the NIL crap. It's only going to get worse because, people being people, can be very greedy and that is going to become very apparent.
Flag football is a joke. We should have arena football programs over flag football. Showcase 8 member football programs for each of both sexes. Way more entertaining than flag football. Very little specialized equipment.
I never played flag football, used to play touch football with my brothers and their friends and again at Ft Lee with my ex, Jethro Bodine, and his band of cronies.I don't care about it either, but apparently a lot of people do. Flag Football is LA28 Bound | NFL.com - 1000's of high school kids and millions globally.... FWIW
