That's Purdy good.I've heard from some people that Sipple kind of slipped up on 1620 today and made it sound as though Purdy is N. Did anyone happen to listen or hear the same?
Spose he’ll bring his bags?Purdy has set up a visit at Nebraska for January 14th

Gawd isn't this transfer portal news and waiting to see if we can actually convince a top QB to sign with us just the slowest possible knife?

Boone Pickins would have loved this. Not only do you now have to keep recruiting your players, but you have to recruit other teams players, AND figure out how you are going to pay him…all the while keeping “sponsors” in the loop and cultivating those relationships to ensure your recruit/player keeps getting paid. Fricking nightmare and annoying to keep up with.
Yeah, that dude was ahead of his time, for sure!Boone Pickins would have loved this.

These rando big NIL offers to backwater non-Power 5 schools are probably happening - but no player with offers to a better school would take that even for alot less NIL. The reason? Exposure if you play in Power 5 - you are on TV way more. That means you have a much better chance of a high draft pick (big rookie contract - Top 10 pick is where the real money is - so you don't have to wait until 2nd contract to make $$$) and endorsements once you go pro (how long until those Baker Mayfield at home in Browns stadium commercials get canned........soon I hope)So I just saw on Instagram several posts from different people (whom I don't follow) that a firm called GameAbove Capitiol has offered OU QB Caleb Williams 1 Million dollars to transfer to Eastern Michigan. No idea if this is actually true, but it does prove one point: Nebraska better start getting with the NIL program or all we're going to be to get are walk-ons. (Walk-ons are great, but they're not the caliber players we need to get back into the national elite. In fact, they're the opposite.)

While that might be true. If you make enough in college, you can make a little less the first couple years of pro ball to make up for it.These rando big NIL offers to backwater non-Power 5 schools are probably happening - but no player with offers to a better school would take that even for alot less NIL. NIL is not there yet but it may be at some point. For the most part the best players getting NIL can expect is some walking around money, a car they can use, and a killer entertainment system for the dorm. Now- there are exceptions - guys with more than 1 car, enough money to get their family moved to a decent situation (aka "Reggie Bush money"), or in a few cases a chance to put money away so they can consider delaying the NFL and riding the NIL train as far as it will go.While that might be true.
