This decision is HUGE for Nebraska.

This move will further separate the Big Dawgs from everybody else. But even among the Big Dawgs, there is a fine line between enhancing the program with more coaches and having "too many cooks in the kitchen."

Nebraska is far from unique in having a behind-the-scenes army of analysts and quality control coaches to support the program. But I would opine that there are not many head coaches with a CEO-mentality who can effectively pull it all together.

Like most quality organizations, Rhule believes in incentivizing strong performances by promoting from within. He wants people around him who understand his level of commitment and his expectations. Rhule has made it clear he loves 'coaching the coaches' and this move turbo-charges his ability to do it. Down the road, it will give former Huskers with a talent for coaching a way to move into the profession the same way former Temple and Baylor players have had under Rhule. Trust me, THAT bodes well for the long-term viability of our program.

Wisconsin’s game-winning touchdown pass vs. Illinois is now a penalty, and Bret Bielema is not pleased

There is a new rule entering the 2024 season that directly addresses Wisconsin’s game-winning touchdown pass to beat Illinois in 2023.

The rule notes that changing a player into a different jersey during the game to complete a tackle-eligible pass is now considered an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

This is, of course, exactly what Wisconsin did in switching backup left tackle Nolan Rucci from No. 66 to No. 93, then running him out on a swing route to catch the game-winning touchdown pass with 30 seconds left in the game.

For those who need a refresher, here is the play in question, plus Bielema’s full reaction to the rule change:

Universities with any sense of morale compass should still test for marijuana and treat it like any other addiction.

I would suggest you read up on the history of marijuana and why and how it became illegal in the United States, hint it had nothing to do with science or fact but a way to get back at political enemies.
Talk about politicizing the doj

I've been around it long enough to know its b.s. to claim its no big deal. It is very destructive in my community as kids are murdering each other over pretending its a trade.

So your issue is the crime that surrounds the profit of an illegal substance. Making it legal takes that away .

Just like the bootleggers back in the day would shoot the competition. You don’t hear to much about that anymore

Wrong again. It is legal here for adults that get themself a card. And ones that use it do to avoid police harassment.

And those who can’t afford the card , buy through black market means…..leaving your entrepreneurs in business
And if your in a state that taxed it to stupid ( California for example ) most people stay outside the lines because of costs. So again who’s wrong ?

I disagree. Treat it like alcohol. Only players over 21 should be able to partake. After all, pot is hardly a performance enhancing drug,
