As far as the last 3. I agree with you, but the same can be said of the vaccine. We don't know the long term effects of the vaccine. Lots of research and testing to be done.

I can be a great thread hi-jacker; but, this thread IS about Johnny Rodgers fighting COVID-19. If it turns into a pro vax/anti-vax/fights about COVID protocols, it will just be one more locked thread.
Please keep the posts related to Johnny Rodgers COVID recovery and nothing else. As ramelbm posted, people worry that Johnny passed from COVID when they see responses.

.8% or 150 (of the study sample size) of vaccinated people died from Covid whereas the remaining ~18,000 who were unvaccinated died.

We could have used him this year a as punt returner. Even at his age and health, he probably would have gotten more than 30 yards on the year.

It's just, sigh, Johnny Rodgers, I thought we could maybe stay civilized. My hopes have faded on that one.

Because it’s a personal choice. Several factors go into it. Especially personal medical history. We weigh these options with all immunizations even the military. Example, you have eczema no smallpox for you, allergic to eggs and foul no Influenza for you, etc. the problem with this vaccine is we are allowing the politicians and media drive the bus and not the medical experts.
with that said, I would advise JR to be vaccinated.

I agree…The same can be said for a rushed man made vaccine. So you agree, let people make the decision based on what’s best for them and their situation. I’m not anti vaccine BTW but I’d be a hypocrite to say we need to force medical procedures on people when I literally hand out consent forms to patients all the time performing radiologic procedures and administering contrast. One simple X-ray has the ability to alter cells, DNA, and cause cancer yet we treat it as if it’s just the norm. People need to be properly educated and allowed to make an informed decision for what is best for them. Back to Johnny Rodgers, he’s in a very susceptible age group and he should take the vaccine AND the influenza vaccine which is just as deadly to that same age group.
