I reread the article twice in an attempt to figure out what was it that made the writer of the article "a hack."
I would offer that Yahoo News certainly didn't need to post a picture that regurgitates Johnny's felony conviction for robbery back in 1970 along with his recent pardon, but the article writer would have had nothing to do with that.
I agree it was tacky. But the article writer wouldn't have written the photo's tagline.
He's a former Nebraska Football Player. That's what they always do -- shouldn't surprise anyone. How many negative articles about LP started out "Former Nebraska Football Player ... ?
Kate and I know JR well, he stopped by our suite during the Buffalo game this last season. He is a stand up guy and a Husker from head to toe we wish him God Speed.

Yep. I had Covid last year and was sicker than I had been in 3 decades. I got my shots as soon as I was eligible.
If he gets well he doesn't need the shots.

I got a series of 6 Anthrax while in the Army, so when someone gets stupid about shots, I ask them if they've been protected from anthrax.
The shot is effing meaningless at this stage. California is wrapped up tighter than a hermetically sealed salmon. And they are totally mandated for you name it.
Nebraska; however, is fully open as far as I know, and at last results had the 3rd lowest Covid death rates /100,000, whereas Cali. was around 27th or so.
Natural immunity is ALL they had for the bubonic when it hit. I'm not trying to be callous, and those who want to vax and mask will, but the sooner we stop moving the goalposts and live with this like the flu and go about our lives, the faster we'll get over it.

You really need to read the first hand Johnny Rogers piece in the OWH about his covid experience. Talking about anthrax here is like comparing the Wright flyer to a 787, its not relevant.
