I wish I had played for Frost. No accountability for anything, no matter how stupid.
Not just Frost, that’s every program. It’s modern football.[/QUOTE
I agree
That's the problem 99. Losers find a way to lose. Doesn't matter the opponent. Nebraska has been bad for so long I don't think they get everyone's best either. Every team the Huskers play can play "average" and win because the Huskers will find a way to self destruct. Two missed field goals and extra point returned...9 point swing sees Huskers in the winners circle. So hard to watch this every week. Next up Michigan St...Maybe not "easily" winnable but winnable nonetheless, as was Illinois.
Hey, he benched Culp for a PAT and the backup came in and did even worse somehow! So I guess the takeaway is. . .they've ****ed things up so badly there's no way out? I'm not sure.I wish I had played for Frost. No accountability for anything, no matter how stupid.
Piper got absolutely destroyed on that PAT.Hey, he benched Culp for a PAT and the backup came in and did even worse somehow! So I guess the takeaway is. . .they've ****ed things up so badly there's no way out? I'm not sure.
I've never seen a program self-destruct as regularly as we do. It's beyond frustrating.Every team the Huskers play can play "average" and win because the Huskers will find a way to self destruct. Two missed field goals and extra point returned...9 point swing sees Huskers in the winners circle.
More like the third team we have to play against after the opposition and refs.At least it's crystal clear. spl teams = our achilles' heel

Today's self-destructions were especially tough because they negated an incredible defensive performance by the Blackshirts.
Also, in a very tight game where every time out is going to be precious towards the end of the game, we call a TO early in the fourth because....we weren't ready to snap the ball before time ran out?!?!?!!? And THIS occurred immediately after a change of possession. Seriously, WTF???
Yeah, I didn't think we had a snowball's chance in Hell of winning today's game. Then the Sooners handed us the game on a silver platter and we lobbed it back to them. I'd rather lose by 100 points then give a game away, especially to OU. It also tells me that we have made minimum progress, other than the DL who kept us in the game.We could have easily won this game. Easily.
I'm really not a fan of "moral" victories. It doesn't feel much like a victory.I'm bummed, too.
Had a shot, but that's more than anyone seemed to think we had going in.
We'll be no laughingstock. There's that, maybe.
Let's see if the team has gained something, and retrieves what looked like it could be another shi**y season.
gbr
We could have easily won this game. Easily.
"Coulda shoulda woulda..."
I swear that phrase will etched on Frost's tombstone.
