I'm bummed...

That's the problem 99. Losers find a way to lose. Doesn't matter the opponent. Nebraska has been bad for so long I don't think they get everyone's best either. Every team the Huskers play can play "average" and win because the Huskers will find a way to self destruct. Two missed field goals and extra point returned...9 point swing sees Huskers in the winners circle. So hard to watch this every week. Next up Michigan St...

I am certainly not disputing what you're saying.

I don't know what this team needs or is waiting for, but they're clearly waiting for something. That's what's so damn infuriating; they're right there at the corner but refuse to turn it.

It's like NU football is a jigsaw puzzle. Most of pieces are in place but there are a handful that just cannot be found.

This team looks like it can actually compete now. That fact makes it even more maddening to watch them find ever more creative ways to lose. Even with the still awful offensive line play they still had a shot. But, special teams killed them yet again. I feel good for the program in general that this wasn't another lopsided embarrassment. It was the best performance against a top 10 team since Riley's 2nd year team lost to Wisconsin in overtime. It showed that they can actually beat almost all the teams left on the schedule but won't unless they stop beating themselves first. Maddening.

Simply put, well-coached teams don't continually beat themselves.

Nebraska is not a well coached team. I'm guessing if you fire Frost and make Lubic the head coach this team wins 9 games next year.

That is if you also fire Austin.

Sorry folks, the same undisciplined idiocy repeating itself week to week and year to year is it for me.

Buckeye's up by 13 with around 12 minutes to play.
I know I know...My posts are the epitome of hyperbole. When I first posted Tulsa was down 7 with the ball and I wanted to be the first to call it. My point is the Huskers may have the opportunity to lose a heartbreaker to the Buckeyes instead of getting blowed up.

Sorry Hunchie, I'm not sure I can take having my heart broken two weeks in a row. It's a real kick in the solar plexus. I'd say nut sack but we all know I don't have a nut sack so I went up a bit higher.:evilgrin0007:

It's a wrap. OSU wins 41-20.

Huskers are worse than a jigsaw puzzle missing pieces though. It's like there is a demon under the table and every time you find the missing pieces he snickers and takes a few others when you are not looking. One week it's the kicker, then it's the punt return team, then it's Pick 6 Syndrome, then it's Fumblitis. It's always something. It is so cruel to the fans. Leaves us wanting more every week. It is pure torture rooting for this team.
Next week though...Michigan State is gonna pay!:CORN:

There, that's our optimistic Hunchie. Still driving that train, I see:banana:

To me, seems like the common weak point (thru every, single, dang game) is spl teams.

Never not

We keep canning Head coaches and we’ll NEVER get out of this hole. Can Frost and the players will hit the transfer portal and we are right back to a patch work job. FIX the issues…
