I took this screen capture from the person who posted this playthrough on their YouTube channel because I wanted to talk about how, offensively, the myriad of ways an OC could attack this defensive front.
1. Audible to an Inside Zone. With good blocking, it's probably a 20+ yard gain with the potential for longer or even a house call.
2. Hot route the receivers.
A. Send the TE up the seam and try to hit him at about the 15 yard line in the gap between the LB and S.
B. Hot route the TE up the seam and then bring either the slot or outside receiver on a drag route over the middle.
C. Look how far off those DBs are. Hot route any of the three WRs to a drag, slant, square in/out, hook, curl, or dig route.
D. Hot route the short boundary WR to a drag over the middle, a slant, or square in to take the boundary CB with him to run off the defender and throw the ball to the RB on a wheel or angle route to the short side of the field.
E. Hot route both outside WRs to go routes and make the FS decide which side of the field he'll help with and throw to the WR on the opposite side.
F. Hot route the outside WR to a drag, slant, or square in and then send the slot WR on a corner route.
My gawd, there are so many ways to attack this front.
