Die Gopher Week

I guess I'm not surprised. This didn't feel like a game week. Distractions. I hate Friday games. I'm working and get home before it starts. Coach Rhule and the team was not at all prepared.
In addition to the OL issues, this is now the 2nd game in 3 weeks where Key had a zero catches. Barney had 1. The offense is stagnant. Run the damn ball.
Fire somebody. That's the solution.
Ruined my whole evening.

Total collapse. Coach Rhule and the team couldn't handle the distraction this week. OL coach has to go. Has to. The OL is 100% the offensive problem.

Our OC and OGs are good. They had one miscue where they allowed a sack to come right up the middle, but outside of that, they were solid. The OTs on the other hand, there is no excuse for us to have OTs that bad. I keep hoping SOMEONE in the Nebraska press asks the tough question of: Why are Nebraska's OTs so weak?

At least twice Gottula was pushed into Dylan before Dylan was even set. That's how fast the OTs git beat off the snap.

Yep. I mean it's right there on film to see. You see it, I see it, literally EVERYONE, except our coaches, sees it.

And OC Holgorsen had the absolute most baffling gameplan. I don't know how you can see your OTs getting beaten like a drum in pass pro and still just keep calling plays that either take too long to develop or you don't start using other routes. I saw so many instances where the Minnesota DB is ~7 yards off the line of scrimmage. Why our QB can't recognize that and "hot route" Dane to a slant, a drag, a curl? You know, SOMETHING?????!!!!!

Also we'd run the ball, get 4-6 yards and then it's pass, pass, pass, pass, pass--like what the f*** man?!?!?!?!

What irritated me the most was the last part, the run game was working, then you gp away from it. WTH? It baffles me. I'm not a coach but my instinct tells me keep running the ball until they show they can stop it. Period! When they do throw a few passes to get them to back of the LOS and run it again.
