Die Gopher Week

[Husker99]

I was going to say watch out for Malachi Coleman, but I just looked at his stats. Through 6 games, he has 1 catch for 6 yards.

Not exactly a receiving threat. But who knows, maybe he could have a break out game?

I hope we break off an oar in PJ Fleck's backside.

"in" or "on"?

[Removed Spleen of Jordan]

I am tired of losing to this guy.

"in" or "on"?

Yes.

[tnhusker7]

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. Get the win, clinch the bowl game and then see how many more games we can win regular season.

GO BIG RED!!!

An excerpt from today's presser for those who don't like to watch the videos:

NU is fighting history on a short week, headed to Minnesota for a Friday affair. The Huskers have not beaten the Gophers since 2018 and haven't won in Minneapolis since 2015.

"We haven't won road games in back-to-back weeks since 2006, which is mind boggling," Rhule said. "Quite a challenge. They've beaten us five times in a row. You know, for me it's a great measuring stick for where we were two years ago when we first got started to now."

If they are wearing pink stuff for the breast cancer awareness promotion the all whites are probably a good choice. Plus that combo will probably further trigger the surrender whites part of the fanbase which will be fun to watch.

[Husker99]

So let's recap, with this game vs Minnesota:

1. We're wearing the "surrender whites."
2. We haven't won back to back road games since 2006.
3. Haven't beaten Minnesota since 2018.
4. Haven't won @ Minnesota since 2015.
5. Winning this game makes us bowl eligible.
6. A win puts Nebraska at 6-1 with a shot at the B1G title game and even a CFP invite still on the table.

So yeah, NO PRESSURE!!!

[RED ED]

I have a feeling that EJ REEEEEALLY WANTS to run wild on the Gophers.

I hope he still feels that

"Lies, damned lies, and statistics". I would not have expected to see Nebraska at #10 on this list.
